Real Cloud Solutions has hired someone for marketing jobs in Boston.
The company, which supplies cloud-computing enablement for independent software vendors (ISVs), has hired Steve Rodden as director of sales and marketing.
In conjunction with its joint venture partner RealTech Solutions LTD, Real Cloud Solutions LLC utilizes their software tool-set that allows ISVs to convert their software application products to a web-based or “cloud-based” service, without the need of a browser (zero-client). This tool-set has been developed in advanced technologies (SQL/.Net) and represents in excess of twenty (20) man years of effort in research and development.
Rodden will be responsible for overseeing Real Cloud Solutions’ sales, marketing, research and advertising activities in the North American ISV markets.
He has 15 years of experience in this particular area.

HMI, a Massachusetts company providing performance improvement solutions that include sales channel incentives, group travel, customer loyalty programs, and employee incentives, has hired for marketing jobs in Boston.
Nancy Widman Smith and Rachel Tyner have joined the company.
Smith was brought on as Marketing Manager. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH and holds a Certificate in Graphic Design from Suffolk University. Prior to joining the HMI team, Widman Smith worked as the Marketing and Design Manager for Sentient Jet Charter, a private jet charter company based in Braintree, MA. She brings over seven years of marketing experience within the luxury travel industry to her new position.
Tyler will be on HMI’s Group Travel team. As a program coordinator, she is now responsible for helping run successful group incentive trips from beginning to end. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Rachel became a licensed salesperson at the Boulevard Realty Group. Through her work experience and volunteer activities, Rachel brings a wide range of skills to her new role.
HMI Performance Incentives is a performance improvement company focusing on channel loyalty initiatives, sales/customer incentives, employee engagement programs and group travel. HMI’s strategies and implementation combine to create programs for manufacturers, distributors and service companies.

Winsper has announced it is hiring for marketing jobs in Boston.
The company specializes in building their brand value and sales by providing integrated solutions across all facets of clients’ business that includes brand strategy, customer intelligence, cross-channel execution, and CRM solutions.
The company said it has acquired four new accounts, which has led to consider bringing on additional staff for Boston jobs.
Clients include Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Global Spec, Autotask, and American DG Energy.
Ashley Chin, Client Advisor, provides client counsel and project management. She currently handles accounts such as Global Spec, the Museum of Fine Arts, and American DG Energy. Ashley joins us from Chicago, where her previous experience includes Abelson-Taylor, Nine Naturals, LLC, and KMP Video Productions.
Gillian Lynch has been promoted to Director, Client Advisor. Gillian, who joined Winsper in 2010, provides client strategy, brand and market research, and account management. She heads up clients such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Hypertherm, American DG Energy, GlobalSpec, and STIHL. Gillian’s previous experience includes Bernard Hodes Group, Circles, and Shorey Public Relations.

Criteo, a provider of performance display advertising, announced that Frank Weishaupt, former Vice President, North American Advertising Marketplaces at Yahoo!, will join the company as SVP of Sales.

Online Banking Solutions said this week it has hired for marketing jobs in Boston.
The company said that Mike Balin joined its management team as Director of Product Consulting to focus on custom solutions and account relationship management.
Balin is located in OBS’ new Boston office and brings 25 years of industry experience as a technology innovator and banker. In addition to expanding the reach of OBS sales efforts, Balin provides pre-sale analysis and consulting services in support of OBS solutions for ebanking and secure file transfer to financial institutions.

RKG, an online marketing firm, said it will be opening a Massachusetts office and recruiting for marketing jobs in Boston.
The firm is also hiring Paul Wilson to serve as Executive Vice President of Client Development. Wilson, who spent eight years at iProspect culminating in the role of Chief Revenue Officer, will further catalyze and manage growth at RKG as the company expands its proprietary service offerings and delivers marketing services to a broader set of vertical markets. During his tenure at iProspect, Wilson delivered a 10x increase in revenue, overseeing the firm’s new client development strategy through periods of dramatic marketplace evolution.

Yodle, an online advertising firm, says it expects to create dozens of new advertising jobs in Boston.
The firm says it needs client managers, account representatives, and marketing specialists. About 80 positions are opening up.
Yodle is currently located on Lincoln St, which houses about 20 employees. They’ll be holding a job fair to garner attention and buzz around the new positions.

Many Boston marketing jobs are on the rise.
In the marketing industry, some fast-growing occupations include marketing, advertising and public relations managers. These workers are responsible for formulating marketing policies and direct sales activities and planning, organizing and directing advertising and public relations activities for departments, entire organizations and individual clients.
According to an article by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, jobs for marketing, advertising and public relations managers should grow faster than average through 2014 as the number of new products and services also continues to grow. The industry currently employs 23,430 employees and that number is expected to increase by 15.7 percent.
